Frankfurt away

Anyone planning on travelling without tickets?? I am booking up but have very little chance of a ticket in our end. Will try to get a ticket in their end as I did for Seville but think it will be harder as they have a big following

If you’ve got the money and can get time off then I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t have already booked up. I didn’t think for a second about tickets. They will probably bring about 20,000 to London and we should be taking the same to them

Yep few of us going over, hotels and flights booked. Will be trying for tickets but little hope.
Any idea on how many priority points Lyon sold out to?

I went to Germany for the first time in 2014, did a tour of 5 cities and Frankfurt was by far the worse of the lot. To be frank, it's a fucking dump. It's the big financial district and a concrete jungle, but I'm sure thousands of us lot will still fully enjoy it there. There is a strip of bars that is okay. To be fair, aside from Seville our away trips haven't been anywhere that inspiring.

I'd have thought a few of ours will head to the Sachsenhausen area, narrow streets with loads of bars many of which sell the local Apfelwein.

Wilko - yep, that's the strip I mentioned. Bit of a dive but okay.

Flights and hotels booked Been to every away game so far except Vienna and only had a ticket from the club for Zagreb. Has tickets in the home end for Genk Seville and Lyon This will be by far the hardest game to get into as they are the first team we’ll play where it’ll be virtually impossible to get into the home end as like us they sell out nearly every game Got a few contacts and been hammering them all just praying somebody comes through with one Think they’ll be loads of agg after Seville so if you’re not that way inclined and you don’t get in I can imagine it getting a bit hairy in the city centre

We're staying in Sachsenhausen, and may have a spare hotel room as one of us thinks he's struggling to get time off with work now.
Got a few feelers out for tickets too, but not looking likely

They lost today away against Union Berlin 2-0. One of their goals was scored by one of our transfer target Taiwo Awoniyi, could have done with it today........and on the 28th!

As wilko mentioned Sachsenhausen seems to a pretty vibrant part of town. My kraut mate who now lives in Frankfurt has recommended it to me.
Hotels in the area seem pretty good value and it’s the right side of the city for the international airport and EF’s stadium.
